The Linen District is a commercial district located toward the west end of downtown Boise, Idaho and is home to an eclectic mix of shops, event space, community service organizations and a mid-century modern hotel. Providing a dynamic, new named commercial and entertainment district to a rapidly expanding downtown was notable at the time since this was the first formalization of an area being redeveloped as more of a cultural district. This has proven to be a catalyst for further development and economic growth.
