The South Dade Women Veterans Alliance (SDWVA) is the first veteran organization in Southern Florida in need of an updated identity system to support their mission and vision. This called for a solution more closely tied to some of the traditional iconography associated with larger, national, veteran-focused organizations. With the organization's name making it clear the focus is women veterans there was no need to attempt to represent this in some way with a commonly over-used visual strategy. The solution was to simply refer to symbolism recognizable at a glance and feels like something more timeless.
SOLUTIONS: naming conventions, identity system design, custom typography, communication design, environmental graphics
